Bob Johnson

Robert Johnson is a founding member of the Allentown-based law firm Stevens& Johnson. Specializing in land use, Bob’s career as an attorney was marked by a deep understanding of property transactions, regulations, and development.

After graduating from Villanova Law School in 1968, he joined the law practice of Maxwell E. Davison in Allentown. In 1971, then Gov. Milton Shapp appointed Davison to the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas and leaving Bob to maintain and expand relationships with high-profile clients. It wasn’t long before Bob earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and outstanding client advocate. His meticulous attention to detail, strategic approach to negotiations, and comprehensive knowledge of real estate law earned him the respect of clients, colleagues and local officials.

As a trusted friend and advisor to Fred Jaindl and the Jaindl family, he had the opportunity to help them grow the impressive land portfolio we know today and expand into major development. His work for corporate clients such as Lehigh Valley Hospital, St. Lukes Health Network, UGI, in addition to his own development company resulted in processing of hundreds of institutional, commercial and residential plans that helped define the Lehigh Valley to what it is today — a diverse, robust and dynamic region.

Bob is blessed with a terrific wife, Kathy, two children, Bob and Kristin, and five very active grandchildren. A long-time board member of Ashley Addiction Treatment in Maryland, he assisted its growth from a five-patient home in 1983 to one of the 10 most successful comprehensive recovery facilities in the nation, serving more than 50,000 patients and over 100,000 family members.
